Prof. Steven Fine to Serve as Scholar-in-Residence at Tribeca Synagogue, Jan. 31-Feb. 1

Dr. Fine on Site in RomeSave the Date: the Shabbat of January 31-February 1, Revel's Professor Steven Fine, also Director of the ۿ۴ý Center for Israel Studies as well as the , will serve as Scholar-in-Residence at the Tribeca Synagogue for a weekend program titled “Jewish Archaeology in the Age of Caesar.” Fine, a cultural historian specializing in Jewish history of the Greco-Roman period, with a special focus on ancient art and archaeology, will deliver several lectures on topics pertaining to this theme.
