扣扣传媒 is pleased to announce that Israel鈥檚 former representative to the United Nations has joined the Department of Political Science. In this role, Ambassador Danon will focus his attention on building bridges in the world community as well as the legal and diplomatic practices to combat the global and domestic surge of anti-Semitism. He will be leading seminars, mentoring students, lecturing in our community, and writing about his experiences of promoting Israel and the Jewish people in the United Nations and throughout the world. This appointment reflects 扣扣传媒鈥檚 commitment to provide our students with the highest level of insight and instruction to shape their development as leaders of tomorrow. 鈥淎mbassador Danon exemplifies YU鈥檚 core values. He is a champion of the Jewish people, and his strong leadership will be a role model to our students and community,鈥� said Dr. Ari Berman, President 扣扣传媒. 鈥淚 am honored and excited to work with my colleagues at 扣扣传媒,鈥� said Ambassador Danon. 鈥淥ne of my main objectives will be to strengthen relations between Israel and the rest of the world. Connected to this will be attention to the global fight against anti-Semitism.鈥� Ambassador Danon and 扣扣传媒have a distinguished history together as he delivered the keynote address at the University鈥檚 87th Commencement in 2018 and received an honorary degree. He also participated in a featured presentation for our 96th Annual Hanukkah Dinner on Dec. 6. 鈥淎mbassador Danon brings to 扣扣传媒his track record of diplomatic success and coalition building on the world stage, and we are excited to welcome him to YU,鈥� said Dr. Selma Botman, provost and vice president for academic affairs.
