Dr. Steven Fine, Dean Pinkhos Churgin Professor of Jewish History and director of the , has two recent accomplishments.
On December 15, 2016, Fine gave a lecture at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on his book The Menorah: From the Bible to Modern Israel. The 40-minute lecture, part of the MetSpeak series, has now been posted on the museum website and can be accessed .
On March 2, Fine participated in “An Authors’ Evening” at the New York City campus of Nyack College, where he and Dr. Burton Visotzky (Jewish Theological Seminary) and Dr. R. Steven Notley (Nyack College), discussed the topic of “Writing Academically for a Popular Audience.”
