Dr. Margaret Samu, adjunct assistant professor of art history at , presented a paper at the in St. Petersburg, Russia, which took place from June 5-7, 2015. The theme of the conference was "Petrine Memorials in Russia and Europe." Dr. Samu's presentation was titled, "Peter the Great’s Roman Venus: Problems of Research and Interpretation." Following the conference, Samu continued research for a new book project in St. Petersburg.
