Dr. S. Abraham Ravid, professor of finance and chair of the finance department at ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½'s , was on Israel's Galei Zahal radio network on January 26. Ravid spoke about his experiences with this year's Nobel prize winners in economics - Eugene F. Fama and Lars Peter Hansen of the University of Chicago and Robert J. Shiller of Yale University. He overlapped with Fama and Hansen as a visiting professor at UChicago and with Shiller as a visiting professor at Yale. During the interview, Ravid discussed the fundamental contributions of the laureates with particular focus on the concept of efficient markets and its relevance to today's markets and investors.
