Dr. Harvey Babich, professor of biology at Stern College for Women, and students Ayelet Bersson and Tehilla Brander recently published an article in B鈥橭r Hatorah, a journal that explores science and art through the lens of Torah. Titled 鈥淛ews and Genes,鈥 the article appears on pages 151-162 of the journal鈥檚 2012-2013 volume and examines the ethnic and genetic ancestry of Judaism, including the role of converts and the development of disorders such as Tay-Sacks.
