Dr. Emil Prodan, assistant professor of physics at ۿ۴ý’s Stern College for Women, will present Stern College’s first physics conference, “” from July 16-19.
Funded by the , the lectures will demonstrate a range of particular theoretical machinery via explicitly-worked out applications inspired from current trends in modern research. Topics will include conformal field analysis, non-linear sigma models, non-commutative calculus for condensed matter physics and topological invariants. Faculty, postdoctoral students and graduate students will present at the conference.
