Rabbi Mark Dratch, instructor of Jewish history, literature, and philosophy at Yeshiva College, published an article in the latest issue of , The Flatbush Journal of Jewish Law and Thought (Vol. 12), entitled, “The article deals with the religious obligations of abused children toward their parents, including whether they are obligated to observe traditional mourning rituals such as shiva and kaddish.
