Dr. Chaim Nissel, director of YU's Counseling Center and associate dean of students for health affairs, has been named to the board of “Elijah’s Journey,” a grassroots organization started to educate the Jewish community about mental health and suicide prevention. Elijah’s Journey recently partnered with and for an evening devoted to Suicide Prevention in The Jewish Community on February 8. The event also included a discussion moderated by Dr. Nissel titled "Helping a friend in need".
